Brows Before Botox

If you have never had Botox before and are considering it, wait and see the effect that microblading can make to your face first. Fuller, defined brows can work wonders for opening up your eyes, framing your face and making you appear younger. Neglected eyebrows can be ageing, and combined with the fact that brows thin and fade as we get older, this is a good starting point to focus on.

If Botox is already part of your regime, please do wait until after your microblading to have your next Botox treatment done. This is because if you were to have Botox before your microblading, your brow position would be mapped according to your Botox-enhanced features. As the effects of the Botox wears off, your brows might not sit exactly as intended.

When you have your microblading done first, your doctor will be able to accurately place the Botox without altering your brow position.

For any Botox related questions, speak to Dr Amanda Penny, ex-hospital doctor and founder of the ultra-discreet Skin Pod based in Twickenham, South West London. With her less-is-more approach, Dr Penny is the go-to expert for ultra-natural looking results. www.dramandapenny.co.uk
